On Friday, Pack 727 is invited to the ceremony to watch our own Webelos 2 as they Crossover into the Boy Scouts. Please read below for details:

Webelos II Crossover Ceremony
In partnership with Boy Scout Troop 620
Friday Evening March 13, 2009 at 6:00pm Sharp

The park closes and locks the front gate at 6:00pm,
and our ceremony starts at 6:00pm.
Please make sure you arrive early enough so you don't miss out!
If you come after 6pm you need to go to the back gate, we will have the key. The front gate is open, and has free entrance from 4pm to 6pm. If you do come to the front gate, and there is a guard at the gate, just tell them you are camping with Troop 620, and you are there to drop, or pickup someone, and they should let you through.
Bring a warm jacket, a flashlight, and a folding chair to watch the ceremony. Scouts must wear their "Class A" uniforms. Parents and siblings should wear their Pack T-shirts if they have them.
The ceremony concludes with the popular "Scout Law Hike" - don't miss it!
Troop 620 will host a "Cracker Barrel" following the ceremony. Please stay for a bit and enjoy the hospitality.
Directions to Santa Fe Dam from Hacienda Heights (best to google or mapquest)
· Take the 60 freeway west
· Take the 605 freeway north
· Exit Live Oak and turn right off the freeway
· Live Oak becomes Arrow Highway
· Turn left onto Azusa Canyon Rd. and you will drive up to the gate
· Ask the attendant to direct you to the camping area, or follow signs to the Nature Center
Directions to the back gate from the front gate
· Make a left on Arrow Highway
· Make left on Irwindale Ave.
· Make a left on First St.
· Make a left on Peckham and you will drive up to the gate and call one of the numbers bellow.
· If the gate happens to be unlocked, drive through, close the arm behind you, turn right at the stop sign and continue down that road. You will see the campsite on the left side.

You are invited to camp overnight with the boy scouts and participate in their program for the weekend.
During the day Saturday, they will be training for their upcoming camporee next month.
Saturday evening they will have a Court of Honor ceremony and OA elections.
You should plan to arrive between 4pm and 5pm Friday to setup tents.
FOOD:
Everyone is expected to have eaten dinner before arriving Friday evening.
The scouts should be prepared to prepare their own food for the weekend:
Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast
Parents should plan to camp separately from the scouts.
The scout parents are coordinating adult meals.
